Refund & Cancellation Policy

At La Bake Amore, every seat in a batch is reserved specifically for an enrolled student. Faculty schedules, classroom capacity, ingredients, equipment, study materials, and operational resources are planned well in advance based on confirmed admissions. Accordingly, all payments made towards admission are governed by the following policy.

1. General Policy

All fees paid to La Bake Amore, including but not limited to application fees, registration fees, admission fees, tuition fees, booking amounts, course fees, examination fees, ingredient charges, kit charges, uniforms, certification fees, workshop fees, and any other charges, are non-refundable and non-transferable, except where expressly stated in this policy or where required under applicable law.

2. Seat Reservation

A student's seat is reserved only after payment of the prescribed admission amount.

Once a seat has been reserved, La Bake Amore commits faculty time, infrastructure, classroom capacity, ingredients, equipment, and administrative resources specifically for that student. Consequently, cancellation by the student prevents the institute from offering the reserved seat to another candidate at short notice.

For this reason, no refund shall be granted if the student subsequently decides not to join the course.

3. Student Cancellation

No refund, credit, or adjustment shall be provided irrespective of the reason for withdrawal.

4. Missed Classes

Fees shall not be refunded, adjusted, credited, or carried forward for classes missed due to illness, hospitalization, medical treatment, surgery, pregnancy, travel, office commitments, examinations, weddings, family emergencies, religious functions, transportation delays, weather conditions, or any other reason.

Students remain responsible for attending the course according to the published schedule.

5. Batch Transfers

Admission is valid only for the batch for which the student has enrolled.

The institute is under no obligation to permit transfers to another batch, campus, course, or future intake. Any request for transfer shall be considered solely at the discretion of the Management and, if approved, may be subject to administrative charges, seat availability, and additional conditions.

Approval of one transfer request shall not create any entitlement for similar requests in the future.

6. Course Changes and Upgrades

Requests to upgrade or change courses shall be considered solely at the discretion of La Bake Amore.

Any approved upgrade may require payment of the applicable fee difference together with administrative charges.

Downgrades shall generally not be permitted and shall not entitle the student to any refund.

7. Payments Made by Instalments

Where fees are payable in instalments, admission constitutes a commitment to pay the entire course fee.

Withdrawal from the course shall not automatically cancel the student's obligation to pay outstanding instalments, unless expressly agreed in writing by the Management.

The institute reserves the right to recover unpaid dues in accordance with applicable law.

8. Workshops, Masterclasses and Events

Registration for workshops, masterclasses, demonstrations, competitions, events, seminars, and special sessions is non-refundable.

If a participant fails to attend, no refund, transfer, replacement session, or credit shall be provided.

9. Course Materials and Student Kits

Where books, uniforms, chef coats, aprons, tool kits, ingredients, digital learning material, certificates, or other resources have been issued or procured for a student, their cost shall not be refundable under any circumstances.

10. Force Majeure

La Bake Amore shall not be liable for cancellations, postponements, interruptions, or changes arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, epidemics, pandemics, government restrictions, strikes, civil disturbances, power failures, internet failures, or other force majeure events.

In such circumstances, refunds shall not ordinarily be payable. The institute may instead reschedule classes or adopt alternative arrangements as considered appropriate.

11. Payment Gateway Charges

Where any refund is approved by the Management, La Bake Amore reserves the right to deduct applicable payment gateway charges, bank charges, taxes, administrative expenses, and any other costs incurred by the institute before processing the refund.

12. Acceptance of Policy

By paying any amount towards admission or enrolling in any course offered by La Bake Amore, the student confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted this Refund & Cancellation Policy and agree to be legally bound by its terms.

No claim shall be entertained on the ground that the student did not read or understand this policy before making payment.
